Create a TV and radio campaign for QuickQuid to launch their new product, QuickQuid FlexCredit, a flexible borrowing solution that offers customers personalised credit limits and adjustable repayment schedules.

Challenge

To introduce QuickQuid FlexCredit to the market as an innovative, customer-focused financial product that offers greater flexibility and control to borrowers. The challenge was to communicate this flexibility in a way that resonated with QuickQuid’s audience and reinforced the brand’s reputation for providing helpful and accessible financial solutions.

Insight

Through extensive research, QuickQuid discovered that customers highly valued flexible borrowing options—particularly the ability to choose loan amounts and repayment schedules. This insight provided the foundation for the campaign, which needed to convey how QuickQuid FlexCredit addresses these needs in a straightforward and relatable way.

Creative Strategy

Building on the success of previous campaigns, the new TV ad is set in the fictional QuickQuid Innovations Lab, where the team comes up with creative solutions to meet customer needs. This innovative, light-hearted setting allowed us to showcase the product’s flexibility in a fun and engaging way.The campaign features:

  • The QuickQuid Innovations Team testing out humorous and exaggerated product ideas, emphasising the brand’s innovative approach.
  • A clear focus on the personalised nature of QuickQuid FlexCredit, with the ad showing how customers can choose the loan amount and repayment terms that suit them.
  • The familiar, trusted tone of QuickQuid’s “Helpful Ideas” campaign, maintaining the brand’s identity while highlighting the new product’s unique features.

Filmed with a focus on direct engagement and clarity, the ad successfully conveys the product’s key benefits, positioning QuickQuid as a flexible and customer-centric lender.

Results

The campaign has already delivered impressive results, generating strong engagement and positive customer response in a short period of time. The ad has successfully communicated the unique benefits of QuickQuid FlexCredit, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for offering practical and helpful financial solutions. We’re already seeing increased response and engagement in a very short space of time.”

A long-term partnership

We delivered multiple TV campaigns with QuickQuid over a 9-year period, including integrated deliverables.

It all began with a Brand positioning workshop to find an ownable and defendable marketing strategy, resulting in:

Our Creative strategy took QuickQuid from traditional DRTV to more brand-led response driving advertising focusing on brand personality.

Integrated campaigns with impact

Our long running partnership with QuickQuid is testament to our ability to shape their positioning – and adapt to the challenges of a difficult marketplace – whilst driving customer acquisition and market share up and Cost Per Funded Loan down.

  • Launch year saw a 48% increase in direct response in website visits.
  • Record low cost-per funded loans were secured
  • QuickQuid became market leader in 2017 as Wonga collapsed, with c40% of the market and a campaign with huge recall and memorability.

Results
